How I Flipped This: Vintage Polaroid for $28
Paid $0 for this OneStep Polaroid — it came in a box of random camera gear I bought as a lot. Here's how I researched it, cleaned it up, and priced it.
I love camera lots. You pay for one good camera and everything else is free.
The find
This Polaroid OneStep came in a box lot I paid $12 for at a Dodge County unit. The box had three broken digital cameras (parts/recycling), a dead disposable, and this OneStep. Cleaned up, it looked almost new.
Research
A quick search showed these selling anywhere from $15 (rough condition) to $45 (excellent with film). Mine's clean cosmetically but I don't have film to test it. Priced it at $28 — fair for untested, honest about the condition.
The rule I always follow
If I can't test it, I say so. Every listing includes the disclaimer about AS-IS sales. Better to be upfront than deal with a dispute.
It sold within 48 hours. That's the flip.
